The National Geographic Channel interviewed Su'a and shot him doing traditional ta'tau for a two-hour special on tattooing that will air in September.

Su'a FreeWind won First Place (for Brixton Karnes' leg) and Third Place (for Geoff Frost's body stripe) in the Tribal category at Artistry in Ink, which took place in Anaheim on May 28-29, 2005.
